The Wright Brothers
Wilbur and Orville Wright the first aeroplane in the United States of America in 1903. The Wright brothers of the flight when one day their father from a trip and surprised the boys with a small toy. It was a toy helicopter. The boys admired the toy very much and they said that they wanted to fly. While the boys were up, they were always and fixing things. They kites and sold them to classmates.
Later, they opened a bicycle and repaired bicycles. They used the money from the bicycle shop for their first flight . The historic flight lasted for just 12 seconds and about 120 feet. This changed the forever.

Dear Jim and Mary,
Yesterday, our class visited the Fleet Arm Museum London near Yeovilton. We over 40 historic planes there and we heard a lot the history of planes and the Wright brothers, the fliers. We also saw modern aeroplanes and then we on a helicopter in a simulator! It was ! We learnt about the four forces of , too.

Logo Maker

I have always been fond of anything related to graphic design. I recently came across one of Richard Byrne's tweets about a free online logo tool with Design Evo. So I wanted to check out the site. It was really attractive and easy to use. You can select any of the great variety of icons offered on the site for free. You can add text using a favourite font from the menu that appears when you click on the 'T' button.You can insert a shape and modify the background of your logo.
Using the logo you have created is free, but you should give credit to Design Evo on your site or simply post your logo through one of your social media.

Συμμετοχή σε ψηφιακό scrapbook

Η συμμετοχή της πέμπτης δημοτικού (2016-17) στη δημιουργία ένος κοινού ψηφιακού scrapbook με άλλες χώρες έφερε τεράστια χαρά στους μαθητές αλλά και μαθησιακά αποτελέσματα. Όλα ξεκίνησαν από ένα tweet που διάβασα στο διαδίκτυο από την @EleniKyritsis, δασκάλα σε σχολείο της Αυστραλίας, η οποία  προσκαλούσε σχολεία από όλο τον κόσμο να προσθέσουν στο google slides που είχε ξεκινήσει δύο διαφάνειες. Η πρώτη αφορούσε σε μια σύντομη περιγραφή του σχολείου μας και η δεύτερη στη δημιουργία κολάζ με τις ζωγραφιές τους.

Συνεργατικό σενάριο στο πλαίσιο επιμόρφωσης υπολογιστών Β1

Τελευταία δραστηριότητα ενός project

Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος ηλεκτρονικής αδελφοποίησης (etwinning), με τίτλο "Παραμύθια σε νέα εκδοχή", οι μαθητές της έκτης δημοτικού συνεργάστηκαν με άλλους μαθητές από την Πολωνία και την Ιταλία και έγραψαν συνεργατικά παραμύθια. Ο σκοπός ήταν να αλλάξουν στοιχεία της πλοκής ή των χαρακτήρων κλασικών παραμυθιών. Το πρωταρχικό εργαλείο που χρησιμοποιήθηκε για τη συνεργασία τους ήταν το google docs. Κατόπιν, αφού οι ιστορίες εμπλουτίστηκαν με ζωγραφιές, οι συνεργαζόμενοι εκπαιδευτικοί τις μετέφεραν στο Cliptomize, ώστε να φαίνονται πιο ελκυστικές. Παρακάτω, φαίνονται οι συνεργατικές ιστορίες των μαθητών και από τις τρείς χώρες.
